We've used a lot of different tools over the years in our business. More than I can even count.
I used to love trying out new software, it was like playing with a new toy, but times change, and it's certainly not something that I do unless I need a new tool.
I know that I would have really benefitted from having a solid starting point for all of the tools I should look at, and that's why we built this list.
Sure, there are some other lists out there, but they generally seem to be flogging things they have a commission for or things they have only used for less than a day. Or worst of all, they are out of date (often by years). We update this list regularly as we discover new tools, and remove anything that stops performing.

Personally, I'm not a massive fan of PayPal, but it is simple so that's a great bonus. We prefer Stripe, but that's of course only our preference.
If you have a business needing to receive payments on the spot then I've quite liked using Square, it's very simple.
In terms of accounting, Xero is extremely common (and something I used for a couple of years). I've moved onto a different product, but that one is not suitable to as many businesses.
Oh, and I seriously love proposals from Better Proposals, they are fantastic.
